Description:

A college level course. Human Genetics is a one-semester course that includes a study of both classical and molecular genetics plus an introduction to the new science of bioinformatics. The course aims to help students learn to define basic genetic mechanisms in human inheritance, examine genes and genomes and use bioinformatics techniques that go beyond the human genome project and study genes and the diseases they cause.
